Yes but add in camera selection, indicators, dashboard mode switching etc, the wheel doesn't have enough buttons.
Thought about getting one of
these? Easier to locate the buttons when you can't see...

I find reversing a trailer really easy, never thought about it but I guess my 120 hours of ATS and ETS2 would have contributed to that
