I had a couple of friends into Italian stuff in the 80s and 90s and came across a few of those plus loads of Strada's and Uno Turbos then but I suppose they were peanuts compared to the Fiesta XR2, Escorts XR/RS, RS2000 etc

I haven't seen one in the flesh in over 20 years.

Would be better with a carbon side blade and on the original V8 alloys. But I love the original R8’s looks.

Normally I’d agree on carbon blade, but somehow silver on silver works!

There was a David Vivian article on a used manual V8 in Evo a few months ago. A real bargain at the mo and will only appreciate IMO.

The silver car is a manual V10 so 2 better.

Original R8 is a lovely car isn’t it!

V10 R8 with Milltek remains one of the best sounding cars I have ever heard in real-life.



I didn’t take that video - it wasn’t therefore filmed on my potato. Same bloke filmed this - unfortunately I noticed he was doing so just as I was short-shifting from 1st into 2nd....
