Lovely car but 80K?? When did that happen?
The colour inside is just too bright though isn't it? Its so close to being a classic colour combo, but they seem to have turned-up the tan to 11.

Can't be very many of those around at all. In a world where all sorts of crap is going for silly prices (or at least advertised at silly prices) £10k seems quite reasonable!
The Falcon looks too nice for me tbh, I'd want to take it apart to make a gasserSundayjumper wrote: ↑Tue Dec 07, 2021 12:37 pm The Falcon looks very nice.
The Landie looks.... I can't think of a polite word
I've heard many tales of people who have had engine issues with Alpinas. Hoovie and Jobbo are just two of them.
There's a chap on PH with an F31 D3 who had a new engine, but that was somewhere over 200k miles: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/top ... &t=1858420Jimmy Choo wrote: ↑Tue Dec 07, 2021 2:11 pmI've heard many tales of people who have had engine issues with Alpinas. That black buggy looks lovely - I've had two buggies in the distant past. If I had more space and money...Sundayjumper wrote: ↑Tue Dec 07, 2021 11:30 am
I quite fancy the two buggies that are for sale, and the Hudson...
I wonder what the 4x4 ones actually drive like. For some reason I imagine that they would have lost some of that "up on its toes" handling.V8Granite wrote: ↑Tue Dec 07, 2021 12:58 pmThat is lovely.Swervin_Mervin wrote: ↑Tue Dec 07, 2021 10:25 am Paging @V8Granite

If it all works then that’s a really good price. Things like the headlamp washers were always broken even 20 years ago.
I’d love a drive down a flowing A Road in one of those again.
Dave!
Excellent memory Alex - I had an “85 Superstrada” which shared a drivetrain with the X1/9. It was shockingly rusty but did LOO. I lusted heavily after a 105TC that lived locally - a 130TC was just a dream (I would never have been able to afford the insurance or fuel).DeskJockey wrote: ↑Wed Dec 08, 2021 10:55 am Didn't @mik have one in his younger days? Or was it a lesser model, while he wanted the more potent one?
I have a 90 soft top of the same vintage and ex-MOD patina. Hardly ever use it, so when I do the shock of its glorified tractorness hits hard! A 4.0 V8 waits patiently for its turn to power it, one day...
