It's definitely a lot of car. It's also a lot of money.
However ! For a Range Rover with more LWB, for less money, this is being auctioned next week. Check out what the state of the art was for in-car entertainment at the time.

Nice.Sundayjumper wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2024 8:51 am It's not full jobbo (never go full jobbo, at least not with your own money), but how do we feel about the reddish brown dash top & carpet ?

(yes, I'm mildly obsessing atm, but any purchase will hinge on selling the Spur & the Cayenne, so it's not happening quickly)
Works, suits the tone I think with that more chocolately colour. I'm not sure I like the shiny wood though if I am honest.Sundayjumper wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2024 8:51 am It's not full jobbo (never go full jobbo, at least not with your own money), but how do we feel about the reddish brown dash top & carpet ?

I like light colours on big luxury cars to increase the airiness, and black on small sports cars to reduce distractions.Explosive Newt wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2024 1:34 pm Also, re the colour of the leather, I had an ivory interiored jag and never any issues. I actually much prefer a lighter interior as it gives the car a more airy feel.

The Leg uses his old money RR to go to the stately manor of correctness while wearing a paisley waistcoat and finely crafted brogues for tea and biscuits with the lady of the house.
I imagine you will dismiss any input from me anyway, but I don't think there are any bad colour combos in a Range Rover. Even the slightly more extravagant ones like that are tasteful shades. I love it anyway, as you'd imagine.Sundayjumper wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2024 8:51 am It's not full jobbo (never go full jobbo, at least not with your own money), but how do we feel about the reddish brown dash top & carpet ?
but needs the steering wheel in the same colour - not that any of that really matters though because Leicester.Sundayjumper wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2024 8:51 am how do we feel about the reddish brown dash top & carpet ?
My lean to the L405 is for a pretty minor reason - a lot of them have a nice factory-fitted retractable tow bar. I don’t think it was ever an option on the L322 and the standard removable one looks clunky.
I'm not usually the greatest fan of red paint, but that looks great. Funky seats too. And great to see that it has a healthy 84k-odd miles on it too - so you can still drive it!IanF wrote: ↑Thu May 09, 2024 8:30 am https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/199 ... luzione-12
