Place the good deals you have seen here. I think I shall look around and see what's on offer with auto boxes.

These threads are often a place to look back and realise what you missed out on. Really good deals get snapped up quickly.
However, the deals on big Volvos seem to be continuing on some specs:
https://leasing.com/main-dealers/helsto ... 333104830/ - 3+23, £301/month, no admin fee because it's from a Volvo dealer. V90 D4 R-Design, 8k miles p.a. and assuming it's Santander financed like my V90, excess miles are very cheap (7p/mile or so). All V90s are auto.

There's some cheap Octavia leases but I think they might be manuel.
How about an M2 competition?

That's a great deal. My Dad's Tiguan lease is up soon so I've passed that on to him. Probably a bit big for what he wants but I'm sure he'll be tempted.

you change jobs/cars far more often than every 2-3 years though!

What Rich said - you can't get out of a lease easily until the end, and if you have any uncertainty about the length of your commute changing during the term then it may be unwise to commit.

I don't change jobs by choice, it's been companies folding. The new job is with Santander so that won't be an issue hopefully...

I know it's not the norm but ALD let my wife give her Kia Sorrento back with no early termination charge , it was only 3 months early but a surprise nevertheless.
The car needed an MOT and Brake Pads imminently so we asked out of interest.

Replacement was a Mitsubishi Outlander Jura 2.2DID which is a decent spec for £286 on a 1+35, 8k miles p.a with 7p excess (no limit).
I thought that was a good deal for a big 4wd family wagon.

Ooh, not a PHEV? I don't think I've seen any non-PHEV Outlanders on the road.
It's amazing what deals you can get if you don't limit yourself to Evo type cars. I still think my Allroad for £337.14 a month (3+23) was a ridiculous bargain, yet nobody really noticed when I posted it on the PH thread. Too much discussion of Merc E220Ds and Golf Rs.

No PHEV, old fashioned Disiesel.
My wife gives simple instructions, big 4wd, can tow 2 ton, leather, phone, NAV and then its just down to cost
The retail otr price was £32,000 so renting for 10% per year seems reasonable.
ETA - I wanted a V90 CC but the other requirement i missed above was Manuel only

Keeping our eyes peeled atm for deals on the V90 and Superb estate. Volvo is the ideal choice really and, while being a different retail pricr bracket seems to be good enough on the deals to match well against the Superb.
Gavin, I'm sure you likely already know this but santander themselves have some deals on. Might be worth checking out if you can get a more favourable deal as an employee
