Model 3 Performance version is really quite impressive.

Tuner puts on coilovers, some slightly wider tyres, minor brake mods and a small splitter/spoiler and the owner races it in Enthusiast AWD class - unlimited power/aero but on street fuel and tyres. Some way off the unlimited stuff, but still in a class of very fast modified Imprezas and Evos that weigh far less.

They won the class - then got disqualified on a protest over the wording of the rules around fuel types.

Sounds like they were let in so the regulars could laugh at the electric car. There must've been a shower of spat dummies when they won .
