Odd eBay situation

Couple of weeks ago I ordered a set of toyo proxes t1 sports for the Scooby. Very good prices and fairly decent so I thought I'd give them a go. Supplier sent inferior ones so long story short I have a refund already but because of their incompetence and their shit courier I have my money and set proxes sports in my garage too. I'm not inclined to chase them to collect for a 3rd time (waited in 2 days for courier no shows now). Should I bother? What should I do with them now, my morality says I should keep trying but they've really pissed me off by first of all selling something they had no stock of, lying about them being replacements/equivalent, not booking a courier for the first collection as agreed.

I'd give them a last chance with a clear deadline.

..What DJ said. Say if they're not collected within x days then they'll be disposed of.

I had them on my Celica, or their older equivalent and they had oodles of dry grip!

I would be very tempted to just leave it but I suspect I would try at least once more as suggested.

Decent advice I think, sent them a mail advising them they have until Wednesday to collect or they will be disposed of. Told them they need to give us a 3 hour window for collection as I won’t wait in all day for a 3rd day.

To add insult to injury yodel sent an email to say collection had been attempted. It was not successful and had been cancelled. They really are lying useless cunts.

You should at the very least name and shame them on here as a Google search in the future might stop some other poor sod from going through similar.

Can you still absolutely rinse them with some negative feedback or is that no longer a thing on eBay?

So what is an inferior set? One manufactured over 12 months ago?

Toyo proxes. I ordered the t1 sports, they sent the regular proxes sport, which is a lower model in the range. The t1 sport has been replaced but with the t1 sport plus.

They have refunded without receiving them back, but shouldn’t have advertised them in the first place as it relied on the buyers ignorance by not recognising the difference.

I’ve got a set on Dunlop sport maxx rt2 coming next week, they seem to get good reviews and with coupon I had came out cheaper than the Toyos.

The threat of the tyres being disposed of got them into action and they booked DHL who gave me a 1 hr slot for collection and turned up on time. Their complaint to Yodel meant that also got re-booked and I've just turned their driver away as they've already been collected.
Hopefully the Dunlops get here tomorrow as promised.

Sorted with minimum hassle. I probably should have thought of this myself but my head is a bit all over the place at the moment.

Hopefully one day they will just have places you can drive to and hand over some moolah and get tyres put on your car! Wishful thinking I know. :(
