Are you seriously suggesting that we give credence to the notion that International Man of Business, Laird Mik of the northern shires share his sauna/steam room with other people? Ha. Give the real Laird his login back before he has you quartered...

It’s the annual open day for the staff.

Mrs mik suggested I might want therefore to wear trunks in the sauna. No.

A steamy steam room full of steam is a perfect place for a perfectly legitimate businessman to carry out perfectly legitimate business. The steam means that no electronic listening devices can be left in there which is an odd coincidence.

There was no suggestion of impropriety implied. However the laird has scaled the giddy heights of international business, his methods work.

I remember watching some documentary online about Russian businessmen who would frequently invite each other to saunas bollock nekkid and whip each other with birch leaves whilst discussing multi-million dolla deals. It was their way of building rapport and trust and I guess there’s no better way of building trust than being naked and whipped.

My Dutch boss to me once: "Should I use the present or past form of the subjunctive in this sentence?"

Me: "Whu..?"

Anyone who's seen Viggo Mortensen's sack swinging free in Eastern Promises will get an idea about how easy Russians are about sauna nudity .
