The Cats are good too thread
Re: The Cats are good too thread
Either that or Jobbos house thermostat is set to 30degC, permanently
Re: The Cats are good too thread
That’s Dall-E’s version of them, I’m pleased to say
Re: The Cats are good too thread
It's not wrong though, is it? (Well, maybe the tail is a bit puffy),
Re: The Cats are good too thread
Pan has found that this is the optimum cat to radiator interface so she sits and does this about 8 feet away from where I’m sitting. Unsettling.

Re: The Cats are good too thread
Went to see a friend this week. She has a new cat since I last saw her. Cat is a big brown tabby lad, thick as mince and incredibly friendly.
Will come up to you with a metaphorical dopy grin on his face, and if you scritch his head, he will flump down in front of you, exposing the rich chest and tum tum fluff, ready for a tickle. But unlike many cats, he won't attack if you go for it - he just sits there and luxuriates as you give him a tickle on the Forbidden Zone (no, not that forbidden zone, get your minds out of the gutter) purring like an idling chainsaw.
He also likes being carried around like a baby, with his legs all sticking up in the air like a bad taxidermy.
He is named Rory and he is just delightful.

Any cat that lets you run its tummy without clawing you is very comfortable. Our alpha, Badger, comes and lies with me pretty much every night and wants me to leave my hand on his tummy. Others like a tickle there too but Badger and I have a bond.

Our badly bred, shouldn’t have been born but lovely cat Lilly is losing more parts of her.
She now has no teeth at all and we noticed her eye was a bit cloudy the other week. A trip to the vets showed that she had an infection behind her ate and that her eyeball had popped.
So she is having anti-biotic in her eye in the hope it will heal up but if not, the eye is getting removed.
So a 1 eye toothless hunter killer on the loose, I fear her ability to torment will be lessened.
Dave!

@V8Granite how is Lilly doing?
Re: The Cats are good too thread
Pirate cat is now back prowling the streets!!
They did an awesome job removing the eye and sewing it up. Which was lucky as the morning she was getting it done, she woke us up with the lens having broken through the eyeball and poking out forwards, looked a bit awkward.
As always, she recovered in a couple of days but had to stay in till the skin had knitted back together. All back to normal now.
If she loses a leg, I’ll have to arm her with a butter knife or something because at some point she just won’t be intimidating anymore

Apparently cars have nearly 300 facial expressions
What the article fails to state is they use only one most of the time- a facial expression of utter utter contempt and hatred, with a smidge of “I’m better than you” mixed in
