037 used the central tub from the mid engined Montecarlo not the fwd beta Coupé. Still a very cool car though, surprised they just let him put on the road in it without a full support crew etc.

"But you can't help but ignore this little Abarth"
Then precedes to talk about Abarth quite a lot...

Don't change Harry.

That 6R4 with the later Metro bodywork was weird. I didn't realise they developed it for that long.

Some cool stuff though, if someone could have the black 928 and the Procar kitted M1 sent to my house it would be great.

Thats the 928 that was discussed a few weeks ago on here. They've amended the description to "SE" and added £20k to the estimate :D

Gargh!

Harry has done an extended Silverstone Auction video. BUT, the new content is in random order in the new video.
Helpfully someone in the comments has added timestamps and I've screenshotted the old and new.

New video timestamps on the left.

Or just watch the whole thing again.

I’m guessing the steering wheel is the essential cheap PlayStation wheel option on the options list ?

It looks a bit naff doesn't it. This car just left me a little cold. Turned video off before the end.

They're just so fast it's going to be really hard to enjoy on the road. These things are seemingly becoming more and more irrelevant in my eyes.

Sadly I’ve seen them as Instagram fodder for quite a few years.

It's a nice looking car, utterly ridiculous power and I'd never buy one. Also hate the Playstation steering wheel.

I watched it with my wife as, by coincidence, one of her customers was telling her on Saturday about his F8 Tributo which was on order and due to arrive soon. He had spent about £20k on options, she told me - imagine my surprise to see the cost of the options on the press car  I've suggested she asks her customer if she can see his build plaque under the bonnet with the options list when he gets it. She has no interest at all in cars, and he wasn't trying to woo her with his tales of the lights in the steering wheel he'd ordered; I imagine his boyfriend is more impressed

I like it.

Who really cares if it's "too fast for the road", you don't buy cars like that to be sensible.

I like the 812 more though tbh because of that engine.

I imagine nice metallic paint costs £20k on a Ferrari these days!

I really like that F8. Best of the 458/488/F8 shell variants and that colour is brilliant. Interior is great too, save for the stupid indicators on the wheel.

I think if I had the money though I'd have a 911 Turbo S over that. Likely so much more practical.

I really don't like the looks - the nose is too long, the back is boring and the sides are somehow too slabby at the bottom and weird at the top! I like the wheels though (on a red one).

Is this the third use of the basic structure of the 458? I wondered if it was an all-new model but it does look very similarly proportioned to the 458 and 488.

Looks like it, has the same wheelbase as the 488. Probably not worthwhile for Ferrari to make a whole new chassis for this as they’re focused on the future hybrid model?
