4 Paw Dog Drive Fleet running report
4 Paw Dog Drive Fleet running report
Ill start this off..
As discussed on the place that shan't be named most of you know we lost our old chocolate Lab girl last year. She was the best dog ever abosolutely brilliant with the kids and everyone who she met.

That left us with our Black Lab Skye Who is now nearly 2. She is also a little cracker - bags of personality and very affectionate.

We had discussed that after loosing Holly our Chocolate Girl we'd get another. I got a ping a couple of weeks back from a freind at work that knew of a litter coming up. A girl in her teams folks were breeding. Were we interested. Yes..We are...But we Wanted a Female Chocolate Lab. The litter hadnt been born yet and were due on the 1st Arpil. We'd have first choice of what came out!
So fast forward to the 1st and they arrived on time. 5 Chocs and 4 goldens. Of the chocs there was one Girl. So were having her!.
Breeder has sent us a few pictures and we go on Saturday afternoon to see her for the first time.

Looks awesome!
I’ve neglected Flash of late due to so much going on at home. I intend to change that next trip home and get a few man and his dog days in.

Yeah man its tough when they go. That was a fucking shit week. I lost my Nan 4 days before loosing the dog. The day the dog went we had open viewings on our house sale. Still think about her loads.
Excited about the new pup though.

None of the pics are re-sizing for me (currently viewing on IE8) so I can only see part of them.....

We open ourselves to heart break with pets, not if but when. Well done for pushing through

Wife was made redundant a month or so ago and is currently trying to decide what to do. Staying out of work means we can get a dog so some big decisions ahead, possibly influenced by a Jack Russell she’s seen at the local Blue Cross place

As it’s been happening gradually we hadn’t really noticed until recently how much of May’s brindle face patches were being lost to old age
Age 5 when we first adopted her
Age 11 now

Yep, as I posted in the old forum, we had poor old Jango put down early in the year. He was a brindle Staffie cross from Battersea and was a lovely fella. Outlived our lab/collie cross Charley by a good 5 and a bit years.
But then 8 weeks ago we got Boba, who is absolutely the cutest little heartbreaker we've ever had. Just adorable.
All four of us are taking him to puppy training class every week and he's training really well.
But being a Staffie, we were never going to be able to keep him off the sofa...

Ours has still never sat on a Sofa!!
Absolutely adore staffies, bomb proof, very affectionate, full of energy or can sleep all day, a cracking breed.
I think apart from Collies any working type dog is awesome.
That’s a lovely colour too.
My wifes Uncle has a massive Staffie called Biggles who is lovely. A mini tank and quite a bit bigger than any other Staffie I’ve seen. He is about 10 now I think. His other Staffie is a rescue he took away from an idiot in a pub. Abused for her first few years and does not play nice with black dogs sadly, no end of trainers have failed to get this trait out of her, a real shame.
A border Terrier or Staffie will be a friend for Flash once both kids are in school I think.
Dave!

Well to be fair, Flash is a lot bigger than any Staffie! If he got on, there would be no room for you!

Behold our two - Gracie (left, 3 years old) and Eric (right, 4 months old): both whippets, both utterly daft, both delightful company. Albeit Gracie is a certified Squirrel Killer and also the world's most persistent food thief. Ahem.

Re: 4 Paw Dog Drive Fleet running report
Lemmy staked his claim to the sofa at an early age (luckily it is the scabby old one)
We tried to encourage him not to but as he has chewed his way through a bed a month since we got him (He is just over one) and I was sick to death of clearing that lot up let alone spending on them have now given up
He is just at home now catching the first of the summer rays by the back door

Your opinion is very important for me. Thank you please.
