Same, same. I love my CTEK too.

I do half think the blinky LEDs prematurely go orange/red though....but they are set to illuminate at certain voltages, so they're obviously always correct...whereas I'm not.

Ignore green  - they hardly ever show green anyway.

If it's yellow it's OK, if it's red it's not.

I'd just like to make it clear, the user error was entirely before I owned the car ;) :D

Yeah it was along the lines of “You’re sure that you’re pressing the correct buttons aren’t you Dad?”

“Positive”.

Hmmm.

Or maybe not.
Worked OK for me, it won't resize yer images for you though, so probably too big if direct from a camera.

No I resized first. It attaches it, just doesn't then show in the post.

The Transit just had it's first MoT under my ownership, I was concerned because there seemed to be a little play in the steering on rough ground, but I guess it must be a case of TADTS as it passed

Oh you total and utter fucking cockend James!!

The ramps into and out of the carpark at the new office are ludicrously tight, like needing to monitor the windscreen, every side mirror, the rearview, your arsehole and that of the cat to make there's enough clearance.

LITERALLY ONE SECOND after thinking to myself, hey I've got this sussed, perhaps it's not quite as bad as I thought so I'm used to it.............

Integra broke down last night :o

Well I was at Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth, and the Integra wouldn’t start. Being in the underground car park my phone had no signal, but luckily the very helpful parking attendant let me use the office phone to call RAC. I was on hold for almost 30 mins before finally got through, and was then told that there wouldn’t be anyone with me for 90 mins.

Whilst waiting, the parking attendant tried to jump start my car but was unsuccessful.

A local rescue company (on behalf of RAC) turned up after 1hr40 mins. It turned out the battery earthlead was faulty. The mechanic fitted a new lead (£15) and the car started instantly. Didn’t have much money with me so tipped the chap £6.

Have had the car since 2011 and only the second time it had left me stranded (the other was due to the starter motor). It’s a 19yo, almost 130k car now so I can’t really complain about that.

My Porsche has broken down fewer times ;)

At least it didn't strand you in a less than desirable location. Sounds like it wasn't too difficult to fix, just a shame it too so long for your break down service company to turn up.

Anyway, M3 passed it's MOT today, so it's all ready now for its road trip in May.

Started replacing the front discs and pads on the 968 last weekend, took a while as I was cleaning things up as I was going along...not quite to OCD standards, but a decent effort! Got distracted into cleaning up the front ARBs and tightening up a tiny bit of play on one of the front wheel bearings, so will finish off the rest job this weekend and bleed out the old brake fluid too. Pics to follow if anyone is interested.

I commuted in on my 125 on Monday/Tue/Wed (will do tomorrow too). Can feel my riding improving every day I take it in. Nipping through the few queues of traffic I encounter on my commute is rather satisfying. Haven't had anyone try to pull out on me, or open their door on me yet, but I'm sure it'll happen sooner or later....

I'd be amazed if any vehicle you've ever owned failed its MOT Marv! :)
