On a W124 tip mine just faied it's MOT, needs some welding! What's the opposites of flying colours, I'm on a train home

It's fixable, and the car is otherwise in good order, so it will ride again 😎

Actually used a specialist MattyB used to use for his SLK55. ACMS, seems a good guy, he's keeping the car and getting his bodywork guy to take a look at it next week.

No it’s going to a place in Kettering who will do the lot, it works out well as they have a Merc parts guy they use for old stuff which is a huge bonus since Merc went all twatty.

Loving the Tesco sign on the car roof. Will you be upgrading it to Waitrose as part of the restoration ?

I did a few laps and re-checked the straps at 11:30 last night
I was paranoid it would fall off

Not a Tesco but if anyone has a genuine German taxi sign from the late 80s early 90s I’d love one!!!!

I know I'm like a broken record with my insurance moans but it's renewal time again, Admiral have decided to double my quote even though a quick look online shows every one else is cheaper than last year
Log in to my account and see this message:

"Thank you for your support and patience while we take measures to protect our staff, due to Coronavirus safety measures. We are open for business and here for you. Our call waiting times are currently much longer than usual so you may prefer to call us only if urgent.
Where possible, please use the MyAccount features that are available."

YET THE THIEVING CUNTS STILL WONT LET YOU CANCEL ONLINE
I don't want to call you pricks, it's not fucking urgent, but you sacks of shits give me no choice but to waste a half fucking day on hold to get through to one of you pea brained imbeciles, waste another 30 minutes trying to lower your pathetic quote before making some crap excuse that the area I live in is suddenly more dangerous than Helmand Province. You can stick your MyAccount up your mums arse while you're at it

No... Well they’re all the same in my experience. I don’t understand why they have to make it so needlessly difficult. It was bad enough pre-covid but forcing auto renewals and having to wait on hold for ages is beyond stupid when they’re so understaffed.

I went to Reis when I got my Compact because I wanted competition coverage, I've since moved my whole fleet to them because Admiral pissed me off.

As always so much is personal experience with these things.

Mine with them has just dropped 30% this year... mind you that is pre NIP for my outrageous 7mph speed infringement (which I’ve had no response to since returning the form declaring I was the driver)
