They all do - Hermes don't issue the final mile delivery people with vehicles so if you see any of them in a van, they've bought it themselves.

On the subject of Hermes, anyone see the bit on joe Lycett about them? Guess all the goods being sold off through an auction house are “lost” before it gets to people like jobbos’s mrs

I did see that on Joe Lycett - bit odd that stuff with address labels clearly on would go to disposal. But I guess if they’ve attempted delivery the stipulated number of times and there’s no return details, that could happen. Not excusing them, but it’s an entertainment show rather than hard-hitting investigation.

Our local delivery person is cracking and has been for 5 years I can remember. We've never had an issue with delivery or returns and I appear to have shit loads from Next on a nearly daily basis.

Went home yesterday to check post etc and took the Boxster out. It’s been left for three weeks in between drives for a few months now but I’m always impressed how it starts and drives perfectly, (key fob loses charge though) I know three weeks isn’t that long and we’ve had good weather but my S2 Elise would have struggled with that, I reckon.

Can’t tell from the pic but the layer of dust gives a ‘barn find’ look to it.

Key fob goes to sleep mode after 5 days (IIRC 5).

The little 987 does look good!

Good to know, ta.

For me, it’s a significant improvement on the 986, the headlights playing a big part. The 981 looks better again, might look at prices next year..

Exige was looking more than a little sorry for itself after a few too many visits to local car hand wash. Got it a little TLC (polish and ceramic coating). Much better.

The wheel colour looks like a rare factory option. Really good choice.

The mito is starting to look a little scruffy around the edges. Particularly the edge of the sills and wings behind the front wheels where the paint / under seal have been completely chipped away.

Arch liner out, sand back the crusty bits, loose paint etc, treat with a rust killer, prime, underseal, quick coat of colour.

Still need to do the other side, and very tempted to do the exposed bits on the merc which aren't protected by the arch liners, especially at the rear if it's not too much faff to drop the dampers out.

8-) Wide parking space or Exige narrower than I thought?

_evo; 8-) you're certainly make excellent use of this time. You might as well admit to yourself now you'll end up having the subframe etc off of the CLK (and probably the Mito too) :D

Those wheels with the diamond cut face were absolutely awful. In that colour they look totally perfect!

Ha, I'm sure my time would be better spent on some of the projects, but to be honest I'm not sure it's that sensible to be crawling right under cars, cutting, grinding, welding with a chance of injury at the moment so doing little bits to keep the decent cars decent seems like A more sensible use of my time.

Exige looks stunning. Like a young Burt Reynolds.

Must be a big space. Exiges are quite wide. 1.9m.
