What goes through someone's mind to make them think that that is a constructive use of their time?
Whatever they've recently injected into themselves, presumably.

Surely that is worth no more than it’s weight in scrap?

- If you’ve got the skills to complete it, you’d not be starting with Someone else’s dodgy shit that you’d end up redoing most of.

- And if you haven’t got the skills, then it’s mever going to be roadworthy or even safe to drive anywhere.

Oh, I still want to do one, but properly and I think it can be done relatively easily.

Probably won't ever happen unless I quite my job and find a workshop somewhere and finish the million other projects first 😀

£8635 in the end. I'm not sure if this is better or worse than mine. Obviously Hartech engine is a plus, as is the body kit but the rest of it has done over 200k so... I was also put off by the corrosion.

I'll be honest, though, I expected it to go for more than that just for the motor.

:( Yup looks like a bargain missed due to total lack of finances, something something should be leveraging my debt.

Still an opportunity to get this though, little bit of a fixer upper.

While I was waiting for Rev to get back from his test drive I had a quick poke around this yesterday:

It looked quite straight and it's totally my spec. I really mustn't buy any more cars though :(

I'm still tempted to add an e46 m3 to the fleet at times, there are still some decent ones out there for sensible money.

After Rev's big success, what could wrong if I can get this for less than £10k?

As much as I like older Bentleys, Continental GTs do nothing for me.

I have a hankering for a big V8 saloon just now or another E28 5 Series.

Agreed about the Conti tbh, I sat in one and my first thought was "this dash is just like my Tourareg !" I'd rather have an Arnage.

Are they labelled the right way around? Wood dash in the toureg? If so then the Bentley dash looks like every single vag product since about the mk4/mk5 golf.....

I would imagine the pic with the B on the speedo and Rev counter is the Bentley 😀
