Burn it. £5k for a Covin with no engine or box.
Isn't the gearbox the lump in the passenger foot well? I'm also concerned by the glass doors.

Am I alone to think that even at £460 is too much?
Looks quite tired but that's probably to be expected with 319k miles on the odometer.

There's a little bit of me wants to buy it, stick a second hand interior in it and see how long it lasts

With the money they must have spent getting it serviced at main dealers way past 250k they could have put a healthy chunk towards a new car!

That's pretty incredible for a 1.4
I bet it's leaked less oil than my cars during all that mileage

That looks like it has done every single one of those miles

Love ‘em.
Fast Lane mag regularly tested them and rated them. A black one prowled the village (small town really) I grew up in - it looked and sounded amazing.
That’s some price though
and it’s not even a LeMans.

Lucky spotting one in the wild, especially back then, never mind getting to hear it
Not a Le Mans but I possibly prefer the looks. Press car chassis 001 would partly account for the price, though I've no idea what they normally (
) go for.

Ok it's not a 124 (or even 211) but a 124 wouldn't be that price.

Selling your car and including a picture of it with a DVLA wheel clamp still attached. Classy

Mental money. And I guess that’s exactly why they’ve started cashing in on new parts.
To be honest the body panels weren’t ever the concern, it was not being able to get basic consumable items like suspension topmounts and more structural metalwork like sills and the rear diff carrier which were the issue.
Kind of why I ended up moving to bmws, at least you stand some sort of chance of being able to get new bits from the manufacturer for them!
