It’s not often you’re wrong, DJ, but today you are. Sorry.

I think they’re one of the best looking cars ever. Would definitely have one in my dream garage

I do love a stratos 😎 .

Shame that one is just a 2.5 - I’d want the 3.2 in there. Also a shame that they apparently handle like a hedgehog 🙁

Unlike BMWs, where the pricks are on the inside.

A bit different

Can't say I'm a fan of the bodywork but it's at least appears to be a custom chassis with a proper Jag six pot in it.

How have they kept the reg? :?
Inspired use of Ka bits to try and get a Plymouth Prowler top on an early XK bottom but it isn't quite there. It's probably what Mitsuoka would come up with if they started with a StreetKa.

Oof, make that closer to standard visually and that would be one hell of a comedy sleeper.

If it made 725.8bhp then I’d have been interested.

I'd want a palindromic power output to put down that kind of cash.

I'd want to know the calibration traceability & measurement uncertainty

I have never seen measurement uncertainty quoted against a dyno plot. Makes me think it's something extremely embarrassing.

Friend of mines half looking for a new car, wants an old defender if he can get one cheap enough and still afford to insure it (he’s only 19 and a ncg)

He’s sent me so many links of marketplace of good looking ones for 2-3k, and when you look at the sellers profile they’re selling loads of cars around the 2-3k mark- but they’re all stolen adverts of much more expensive vehicles. The amount of scammers on there is unreal

Yeah, marketplace is ridiculous for that. You'd think it would be almost trivially easy for Facebook to apply some kind of filter like "if someone with no history of selling cars suddenly lists >10 cars all at once, block them until they contact support and ask to be unblocked".

Also, Defenders are ridiculously expensive for what they are. And shit. He'll be disappointed.

He’s a farmer and genuinely enjoys driving tractors so I’m not sure he would be disappointed

What are KV6s like, like a K but twice so? Performance/thirst like a W8?
