Agreed - the carpets at least need to also be colourcoded to qualify. All you'd need to do to sanitise that one is swap out the wheel and gear selector.

I'd have one, missus wants a Figaro if she ever gets her driving license. We could go for the full household of rebodied Micra drivers :).

It's not worth making them fast but you can make them a bit livelier with bits from Micras fairly easily.

All the SRxx engines have some other letter after them don’t they though to signify Dohc, variable valves, turbo, etc? Is there a plain “SR20”?

They didn't design a car either, they put a poor attempt at a MK2 Jag front end on a Micra.
