Jobbo interior
Re: Jobbo interior
Best bit about that Audi is the carpet on the door pockets.
Re: Jobbo interior
I'm sure you're thinking of that time at the LJR when Porter arrived in an Audi A6 test car. It was actually the carpet inside the door pockets that I liked. So much I bought one

I'd rather assumed Beany was being filthy. Carpet on the door pockets. Know what I mean ?
I don't tbh, but it definitely sounds rude.

What's it like ?
Re: Jobbo interior
Not my car, but following some recent discussion on alcantara wheels - I did a quick google search to see if anyone had retrimmed their Evora wheel in this material.
Standard wheel feels great. It's a shame the clumsily-protruding airbag ruins the visual aesthetic, as it scores highly for tactility. Not sure how comfortable it would be if you don't keep your hands at quarter-to-three, but - that doesn't bother me as I do.
Someone (in 'Merca) has done a retrim using a mix of alcantara and leather. I think they've selected the materials to match the dashboard finish, as shirley you'd normally expect the high-grip alcantara to be where you routinely hold the wheel?

If I'm paying £8k for a 23 year old car, I'd want the gear knob to point the right way.

If Hollywood has taught me anything (and I’d like to think it has) that’s where most ‘Murcians hold the steering wheel

That. And one which hasn't been keyed down both sides.Jimmy Choo wrote: ↑Wed May 31, 2023 10:15 am If I'm paying £8k for a 23 year old car, I'd want the gear knob to point the right way.
Re: Jobbo interior
Fair point.
Re: Jobbo interior
It’s where about 80% of people hold the steering wheel now, annoys me as there’s not a great deal of control grasping it there
Re: Jobbo interior
I expect they've gone for harder wearing material where your hands sit most of the time - alcantara usually looks shit after a few years on steering wheels.
Re: Jobbo interior
I believe that’s what the yellow line on the wheel is for. Hand placement.
How about not having a sig at all?
