I just watched Murder Mystery starring Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston. It was not good.

Are there any good Adam Sandler movies that aren't Happy Gilmore?

I'm actually disappointed with Jennifer Aniston for doing it

I had to dissuade my missus from watching that the other day. She was scrolling through Netflix and thought it looked all right.

I've not voluntarily watched an Adam Sandler movie since the Wedding Singer, I'm not about to break that streak .

It’s basically a lazy “spoof” of Agatha Christie-style books which manages to be both unfunny and unoriginal. I’ve no idea how it got made.

He produces his own movies and they almost always make money. He's got a locked deal with Netflix for another 2 films apparently.

I haven’t seen that one but Adam Sandler is probably my favourite comedy actor.

I get his comedy I guess, and his films were part of the generic set played whenever the weather was too crap to go out and play sports at school - good thing I enjoyed them

I always wondered who his core audience was and now I know: retards.

It'll be fun to watch Scorsese and De Niro work together again, even if he's far too old for the part he's playing. It's crazy that this is the first time Al Pacino has been in a Scorsese film as well.

Yep this one is definitely on the list - although Scorsese has been doing movies-by-numbers for basically forever, they are pretty much guaranteed to hit the mark.

I quite like the odd ones he makes every now and again.

He made a movie called Silence a couple of years ago that was about 17th century christian missionaries in Japan. It was a total flop but it's a great movie.

Ban hammer time. A line has been crossed.
