Come back to a shitstorm myself, even though I was on leave I responded to a couple of whatsapp messages.
My problem is that no one else in the company or from our vendors knows as much about this environment as me. Everytime I go on leave they have a nightmare and when I return for no apparent reason it starts to behave again.
This time it wasn't helped by one of our vendors powering off several servers from a wrongly executed decom order (2 days after i left) that were servicing some home drives and file shares, the over worked (where my guidance was ignored to not share the platform) storage platform which is being replaced shortly then seems to have suffered some corrupted volumes and it's royally screwed the system up.
You really couldn't make this up.
