King of Chocolate Biscuits

Post by scotta »

Tackling the key issues for a monday. Best wrapped type Chocolate biscuit. You get 3 votes. Lets all be in agreement of epicness.

Only 10 options max allowed on the poll so not making the list are...

Nestle Blue Riband
Fox's Rocky
Burtons Wagon Wheels
Mcvities Penguin
Chocolate Digestive

Flavour variants - pick your favourite from the main biscuit title.

Chunky kitkat if it needs to be coated in chocolate but if it’s just chocolatey flavour that matters then the humble Oreo.
How about not having a sig at all?

It's Tunnock's :)

Oh, and you need to add Cadbury Snack to the list.

Has anyone tried deep frying a Tunnocks Caramel Wafer yet? Surely it's the next logical step from the deep fried mars bar for the ultimate in Scotchish cuisine?

I love the Caramel Logs but you can't buy them in Englandshire (at least, this far south of the border), despite the wafers and teacakes being sold everywhere.

None of these is really a chocolate biscuit, though. They're entirely coated in chocolate and therefore they're biscuit bars (or not even biscuit at all in the case of the wafer, log and Kitkat).

Favourite chocolate biscuit would be the milk chocolate digestive, followed by milk chocolate Hobnob. Though Choco Leibniz is good for a change. And Jaffa Cakes are lovely but of course, they're cakes not biscuits.

Outrageous - No Logs. That my number one.

You are entirely correct in the bar format - thats what i was basing the poll on. Ill update the OP to reflect.

I do love the caburys snack but they tend to be more of a chocolate bar than a pack of biscuits.

Yellow one or Purple one...

Definitely the Purple ones as they seem to have loads more chocolate than the Yellow ones.

In that vein, can I add a vote for Snack Shortcake (but not Snack Fingers)

I've just realised I never eat biscuits - they sit alongside crisps and nuts on the list of things I dare not buy, for they would be eaten in one go as soon as I got home.

So - this is not the thread for me. Good luck with the arguing

The yellow one of course.

BTW, does anyone still see Chocolate Clubs around? There used to be fruit ones, oranges ones, mint ones etc etc. Not seen them for ages.

I'm not a chocolate biscuit guy.

Plain biscuits like ginger nuts or vienese whirl things are what get me.

I did however add a single vote for teh kit-kat.
