Wiper blades

Seem to remember a discussion about the best blades and where to buy them. (Plus Adblue/Eurocar part discount codes etc.) Obviously, this wealth of knowledge has been lost, so which ones do you guys recommend and where's best to buy them. Thanks

Matty, maybe we need a Parts Buying/Review and maybe Lease Deals etc. sub-section (or sticky)?

Annoyingly, they don't do ones for the M235.

I'll still say PIAA super silicon are the best wipers I've had. Last for years, give the screen a hydrophobic coating, nary a squeak nor squeal, even in the depths of winter.

Need to find them in larger sizes for the Mondeo. Believe they do them, just not looked hard enough as yet.

Not entirely happy with RainX, which I'm currently using - the PIAA wipers require less maintenance in my experience.

Don’t seem to have two of their new range in, so I’ll have a look at piaa. 👍

Tbh any new wiper blades will be better than any worn-out ones, don't get too hung up on getting unicorn-cock ones.

I'm happy to pay a bit more for ones which stay silent forever, never smear and never wear out.

Agreed but if he can't find them, anything will do in the interim.

True enough. The issue I had last time I was looking (For the Citroen, which has huge, modern flat blades) is that they didn't do them big enough.

Seem the si-tech are the updated range to suit flat modern blade designs, though, so I might have a look at them - I'm a bit disappointed that the RainX treatment barely lasted a month, frankly - never had that problem with the silicon jobs (I cleaned the screen properly once a year in the summer with them, never more).

Which leads to the question, which way do you wipe?

Just get your local Ferrari dealership to replace them the next time it's in. They'll probably only charge you £200

I'd have thought they have been the same as the rest of the range?? It'd seem strange to have M-lite specific wipers even for BMW.

Wipers on my 2yr old Class have gone through 67k and are fine.

I've tried Rain-x on the windscreen a few times and really don't like the stuff but it's great for the side windows.

I recently fixed the wiper blades on my golf using superglue

Didn’t fancy buying new blades just before giving the car back
