Did anyone else listen to all 6 episodes?
I just listened to the last one.

I remember really enjoying reading "And another thing" as it completely reversed the nihilistic and depressing ending of Mostly Harmless.
But I don't remember the story being so short and uneventful.
Frankly it was a stretch to make 6 half hour episodes out of the material.

It was great to hear 90% of the original cast return, but it seemed a bit tired with none of the originality, creativity and wit of the previous 5 series.

However, it was cathartic to hear the bittersweet ending and to get closure.
The first 4 books were amongst my all-time favourites (particularly So Long and Thanks For All the Fish), but I hope everyone involved lets it lie now, the story is done.

Fond memories of school exams where we were allowed to take a book in to read if we finished early, so we sat quietly whilst others carried on their exams. I took HHGTTG and recall doing a lot of giggling in those exam rooms.
