Given the limited production I was surprised to see these on my company car list circa 2002 so I assume they didn't sell well. Being a company man my boss asked me to take a Toyota Avensis pool car for a year to use up surplus stock

If I remember correctly lots were registered as Ford management cars and ended up in closed auctions when they were up for disposal. When I bought mine there was a good selection of them for sale at Ford dealers and all ex Ford cars so perhaps this was one way of boosting sales figures.
