One of these. Electric Mustang hearse. I had to do a triple take to figure out what I was seeing.

Just back from a few days in Warsaw, nothing particularly picture worthy, but a surprising amount of modern Camaros and challengers kicking around. They do however drive like lunatics and the best I could describe their road system as is “organised chaos”. Guess it makes sense when driven regularly. However they’re incredibly respectful of pedestrians who are in turn respectful of the roads.

Lots of motorbikes flying all over, and a couple of 911’s racing through the city centre at about 120mph

Like many European cities their Public transport shows is up. Regular trams and buses every 5 minutes to every corner of the city, always reasonable clean and tidy and only 36 złoty- about £7- for 3 days unlimited travel across metro tram and bus

Not a true spotted, but this week I met and chatted to the owner of this.

He owns an Elise (S2, and previously owned an S1), but recently (2021) completed a 35 year restoration  Yes. Thirty five years..... of this Elan Plus2.

What a result however. It looks absolutely fabulous 8-)

I can't figure out how to embed individual images from Instagram  , but see link below.

Talking of hearses... Popped up to a banger race last weekend and this hearse won the first race with ease. 2 later Mondeo Zetec engine, RWD, lots of fibre glass from the a pillars back.

As for the rest, there was a variety of small hatches with everything stripped out and radiator moved to the rear to avoid stone damage.

Looks like a right laugh and of course I'm considering it for next year... Apparently there's also a fair bit of autocross up this way.

Going the other way as I drove home last night - a 6-wheeled classic Range Rover. It sounded excellent and looked very cool.

Driving the i3 today, I saw a glisteningly clean late model Arnage and felt a strong pang of want.

Saw a lovely red Caterham and a yellow Exige earlier, not seen them round here before so I'm guessing they're both doing the NC500.

Portofino parked on double yellows with zero fvcks given:

At least it was

Also having never had a car towed I’m curious of the process. I assume you’d go and see your car no longer where you parked it, you’d then call the Police non emergency line because you don’t know if it’s been stolen or not? At which point they’d direct you to the correct pound?
How about not having a sig at all?

They would’ve maybe got a phone notification that their alarm is going off.

I see a lot of cars lifted around events at Hampden, traffic wardens usually hang around for a bit to see if the driver comes back.

That would be a very easy way to steal a car. just lift it onto the back of the truck in broad daylight and drive off. no one would stop you, everyone would just assume it’s being legitimately towed away.

I think there was a gang that operated in that fashion many years ago. But with modern keyless entry systems it’s so much easier to steal cars in seconds that you can just forego the truck.

I get a call from my tracking company as soon as the car moves without the ignition on to cover exactly this.
