Even more impressive if he was driving over the bridge when it happened!

Is that bare strip on the tree to the right of the first pic where the rear quarter panel/windscreen impacted? Ouch.
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Amazing. The first thing I'll do if/when I land a proper fast car is definitely NOT give it full send on a public road in the first tank of fuel. How do these people even manage to dress themselves in the morning?

3rd post in that thread suggests this bend is "notorious to sneak up on people", but via a quick streetmaps sleuth : it looks pretty well sighted (albeit we are looking back from the google camera van situated in the left lane, whereas cars approaching the bend will of course be in the right lane). It does look like the bend tightens up as you go round though.
Regardless - driver idiocy.

edit: The same road does have warnings for some tight-ish bends a mile or so further North, backed up by chevron markers on the bends. Neither of these are present on the bend where stoopid left the road, but.... I believe this whole section is a 35mph limit

Giulia QV, in proper Tri-Rosso Red. I think it's the first I've ever seen on the move, only ever seen parked up out and about.
They look fantastic on the move, and sound good too. Amazing how many RS/M/AMG cars you see relative to these, certainly where I am. I keep meaning to arrange a test drive but I'm too lazy to pretend to the dealer than I'm actually interested in that example.

One of the few modern cars I actually desire.
Doubt they’ll ever get cheap enough for me to buy one though

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Not a vehicle spotting, a personal encounter today. I took the Ferrari out on an errand and while standing there waiting a very nice French chap approached me and complimented me on the car. I get very embarrassed and modest when this happens so I turned the conversation around to him, asked him what he drives. He said he used to have an old 911 SC and then a 964. And then he said:
“…and I was the project manager for Radical from the SR2 to the LMP”
I didn’t have time to hang around unfortunately but I’m hoping to bump into him again. Really interesting chap !

997 S followed by a Cayman GT4 in lovely yellow, the a 992 Carrera T and some sort of black Porsche in the middle, but I was too busy looking at the yellow ones to see what they were.

Hipster doofus
Spotted but no pics as the owner is wanting to keep it quiet... A local garage has a Delorean in for some work. I've never seen one up close so didn't realise just how wide and how low it is. Still looks like nothing else out there and those doors opening are still as special and unique as they were the first time I saw them in Back to the Future.
They also have this in for sale, another blast from the past but in a different way. Weird to see the z3mcoupe.com sticker in the rear window.
Still love this rear view.

First Purosangue out in the wild - parked in Westgate car park! Braver man than I. Looked tiny!
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Depends what you’re comparing it to - for an SUV it looked small (you can see an XC90 on the other side of the pillar for scale). Although higher I would say looks like a smaller car overall than an FF and from early tests sounds like it is no more practical in the back other than ease of entry with the rear doors.
