Are there any foods that make you think "No thanks! I am not trying them/that" ?

I forgot to post an image of a tin of Pilchards. Just in case anyone was unclear.

Corned beef. Just the thought of it makes me gag.

Dave - i dont have an image of rotten salty shark corpse, so instead thought i would post a short video of an Australian lady - probably one of their more intelligent ones - being surprised that hand-feeding sharks can be risky. The water is salty, but I believe this shark is very much alive.....

Also love corned beef. Did go off it for a while after finding some bits of blood vessel in my corned beef hash. <gip>

You’re eating it wrong.

Anything to do with slugs, snails, insects or stinky goats cheese can fuck off. Also raw oysters.
Also generally seafood which has not been cleaned. Giving me a whole fish or prawn to try and dissect isn’t fun or appetising.

After getting nuked, my taste buds changed. I consider myself lucky that the only things that I no longer like are red wine, piri piri and sweets.

Kathryn is a foody but even she has limits. She's tried spiders in Cambodia but drew the line at the fertilized duck egg in Vietnam.

Nothing can come close to century eggs can it? Fermented rotten egg that stinks of ammonia:

Corned beef is rank. Oysters and snails too. Pilchards are lovely.

I’m pretty adventurous, having eaten ants, crocodile, Nigerian offal stew , but Mantis prawns were not the delicacy I expected; probably didn’t help sitting next to tanks of the ugly fuckers as i ate one. Oh, and Maraschino cherries!

Just looking at coleslaw turns my stomach, as does the smell of tinned tuna. Just no.

Tuna is probably the most mainstream NO foods for me. I'm sure I've probably tried it at some point in my life, but I find the smell so vile I wouldn't ever consider putting it in my mouth through choice.

Pilchards are delicious. I don't think there's any food I don't like or wouldn't eat because I find it unnatractive. Don't eat loads of foods by choice though.

Have been mainly eating only plants for 3 months.
