BMW in car ads

Not sure if this belongs in the Cars or Moaning section, but saw on Reddit that BMW now has Spiderman adverts in their displays. Fun times ahead.
I did see the OP say it was an option to turn on, but still, seems pretty horrible to me.

Do you have to wait for the end of the ad before you drive off? does it just cut if you move off?

*this may be a bit to much of an obscure meme to be relevant

Like subscribing to heated seats in a BMW, this sort of thing really discourages me from the brand. Hadn't occured to me that they could push adverts at you willy nilly.

I very much doubt it’s only BMW doing (or planning on doing) this !
