Anyone use it, have experience of it? No provider supplies full fibre to our house and I'm looking for something fast. We also can't get Virgin, we had it and something went wrong which they eventually admitted they couldn't resolve...

Parents have had in a few months, comes with two nodes of mesh WiFi. Main unit is quite big but not very tall so doesn’t impose too much. Signal has been consistently good with no issues.. get 150-450 (max 600 occasionally ) Mbps download and 15-20odd up.

App to setup, align and view obstructions is very simple to use with a good UI and log of WiFi switching/interuptions etc

Delivery took a week longer than they said, but there’s an offer of a roaming unit for £4.50pcm extra (plus data) that may tempt people who camp etc.

Same here, they've had it since it was first released and besides a few days of it cutting out a bit during the early days of the Ukraine war it has been faultless.

I'm assuming they are on the Max £80 a month plan?

Sorry, should have said, yes they are. Tbf, they were paying BT £95pcm to give 14Meg (if you’re lucky) and who consistently just shrugged their shoulders and said it achieved the minimum download rate of their contract.

If you can wait Amazon Leo is coming "soon" which is their version of Starlink, hopefully it'll start a price war

Guy at work had a boat trip with his friends scheduled that ended up clashing with one of the England games. One of them sorted Starlink and a projector in anticipation. Apparently it worked perfectly and there was a lot envious other boats!

We have one that gets used for temporary site connections and when I go to Spain.
Works well for downloads and streaming, but if it deosn't have a clear view the latency can cause issues with video calls, despite a speed test showing over 80MB.

Interesting, I hadn't heard of that.

I thought about selling ours once we got fttp but it seems like a great thing to have in an emergency given the relatively small outlay for the kit.
