music streaming?

Looking for knowledge from the brain trust - I have a family sub on Spotify, but they are pushing AI on their playlists so I am after something similar that doesn't.
Plus it has jumped from £15 to £22 and has now started a podcast for Yaxley Lennon so not too keen on funding either.
Anyone using something dofferent? Ideally that the whole family can sign in to.

Does the family watch/use YouTube? If they're over 13, their premium is decent - includes YT premium and music for one price.
If you're with Apple, their music platform is one of the better ones. £17 for Family.
Don't rule out Spotify free though! I've been using it ages. Just make your own playlists, and other than an advert every 20 mins, it's great. Reduced quality mind, so not great for audiophiles.

Cheers. Free or not, Sptify seem to be a bunch of shits from an ethical standpoint. Been googling and Qobuz seems cheaper, not sure about AI usage as none seem to cover such things.

TBH, I was happy with just downloading what I wanted and paying for it, but the kids listen al the time.

On another note, I’m looking for a similar replacement for Spotify but it needs to be able to play over Android Auto.

Oh, yeah, I would very much like that. TBH, I hadn't considered that any streaming service might not...

I use youtube music because I pay for a youtube sub anyway. It still has ai playlists unfortunately, I think you’ll be hard pressed to find a streaming app with no ai pollution tbh.
The usp of youtube music for me is that it pulls from your entire youtube history for recs so it reminds me of stuff I haven’t listened to for years. Also being able to find like bootlegs etc that were never officially released but were uploaded to youtube.

Amazon family pack for us, no issues for us or the kids at all in what must be 2 years.
