Potentially single man walks into the pub, two attractive women and one man (separately) try to start up conversations; I talk about death of past girlfriend, wars and European reticence, plus gays not being allowed in the military until recently yeah…… (what the f is wrong with you!?)

I had a friend who was a top cadet and went straight into Sandhurst at 18 as an officer, then got kicked out for drinking too much. The mind boggles.
