Perhaps you could replace the car stereo with one. Then you dunk the P-I-B into the cigarette lighter socket to warm it.

They’re fine, it’s been beeping non stop for 7 days straight now

I put sleeper batteries in all our home sensors - I just shake them back to life if there is a fire or whatevs.

Last weekend I made toads in blankets in the hole. Smoked bacon makes everything better. EVERYTHING!
