It is not a political arena, but that won't stop the shouting. They've never withdrawn before in the face of other countries with less than great records, so why now? This is in no way a diminishing of what is happening in Gaza, which is a horrible crime.

The country boycotting eurovision while we’re still charging protestors for the same cause with terrorism seems a bit daft tbh.

Spain (one of the big 5) joins Netherlands, Ireland, Slovenia, and Iceland in threatening to boycott.. along with UN announcement today , there’s no way Israel should be allowed to participate

I used to watch his YT channel. Nice guy, but we (well, the BBC) just can't see to pick a winner for shit nowadays.
