He's found it - smashed screen. Damaged locks, but otherwise seems ok.

Amazed he did, to be honest, expected it to be in a lockup in bits. Seems it was only because it had no fuel in it...!

Wonder if they knew whose it was?

Presumably left somewhere quite quiet to see if it was tracked / picked up.

I imagine given their value now it would be worth more complete and become a donor for a new ID. You kind of assume the market is quite well known and any ‘new’ cars would raise suspicion. Rather naively I tend to assume the crims are generally after faster more modern and easier to dispose of machinery.

There was an e30 m3 cabrio stolen a few days ago too.

Ah, er, good news I guess

Sounds like he's had quite a lot of hassle with people targeting his cars for "lolz" and now based on this, more nefarious reasons.

I guess it was sitting around waiting to see if it had a tracker on it.
