Are there many good driving roads around there ???

I'm not sure its intended to be that kind of a meet. I guess the closest roads are up towards Epping forest or further East.

Yeah, it's not a driving meet, we're going to the Iron Maiden gig in the evening

Although I'll be driving the i3 to gavster's place mid-afternoon so there's some driving I guess.

Weather is looking good for it, however, I have a 50th birthday tomorrow night so if its more of an afternoon beers thing then I may have to skip. Jealous of the Iron Maiden gig too

I feel like everyone is approaching the event horizon of a black hole and I'm back in interstellar space aging at twice the rate. 50 is still a decade away for me though despite how old I look (I think me and the guy whose birthday it is look similar ages )

What sort of time are you thinking? I'm at a course in Regents Park until about 2.30.

Also it's my 40th very very very uncomfortably soon.

I was going to lean heavily on Gavster’s local knowledge for anything resembling an itinerary but if I leave here after lunch and the traffic’s not a nightmare we’d probably get to the Olympic park 15:30-16:00 (ish).

That would have been a great opportunity, unfortunately I have to be at two different summer fairs at the same time.

All are welcome at both if you can stretch the definition of vicinity a tad (only a scant 15-20ish miles).

I can’t find a solid time for when Maiden start. Looks something like 8:30. Obvs we need to be there before that. So core time for casual beers will be 4:30-7:30 with a bit of leeway.

Wouldn't be able to make there in time. On the cleanup crew until 6pm/we're done.

It's very kind of you all to meet up to celebrate my birthday, I must say, even if I can't be there for it.
