Don’t expect to make or receive any calls as the network has been down for a few hours now…again. Data is working which is one blessing I suppose.

Are other networks as shoddy?

Three merged with Vodafone a week or so ago - something connected to that perhaps?

Apparently although the merger has happened the hardware is still separate at the moment.

I heard they are all switching over to Trump Mobile in the near future. This is probably the start of the process.

We were switched to 02 a couple of years ago when Virgin merged with Telefonica and have pretty much zero chance of making or taking a call near home!

When Virgin used EE it was ok but not great but what we have now is a joke.

Been on O2 all my life and feels like it gets worse every year. Aside from London it no longer seems to work consistently anywhere else.
If you’re at a vaguely busy event it won’t connect even though it claims 5G. I think they’ve just rebranded all their 4G output as 5G because it ain’t 5G and it’s all very slow.

The networks are separate but apparently some mast sharing has already started, as some of the masts only need a software update for it to work.

No issues with calls on Tesco piggy backing O2, however I work a lot of places where you have 4/5g signal, yet no data transfer

It seems to be stumbling back to life, I suspect they will be getting a large amount of account cancellations tonight.

O2 is “fucking awful” here. Sky piggyback them. I’ll be moving all our phones to smarty once the data bank runs out.
