Placeholder as I've been here since Thursday. Just secured my spot for the start by the Dunlop bridge, 7 hrs early. Travel from here to N24 next weekend
I haven’t been watching, as I’ve been on my way back from mainland Europe.
Saw a clip of the podium celebration…spoiler alert…
Great to see Kubica (and his teammates) on the top step of the podium, after what he has gone through since that crash which effectively took him out of F1.

Looks ace - gutted I wasn't there despite having tickets. I'm determined it will happen next year.

Got your trailer load of materials ready for the viewing tower and hot tub construction at the Ring?

I have ramped it up a bit this year with a generator, 24MX gazebo, DJ decks, speakers and a cooking range, in addition to the two folding bikes in the boot, but as you know, still have some way to go to reach the German crew's dizzy heights
Caution, I'm going to be this guy for a second:
Spent Sunday night in the Loire at a friends (including driving a GT4 for a good twenty minutes and hitting the limiter ), Monday at the beach by a lake playing a B2B with another guy on my decks, then stayed the night in Paris and I'm now at the Ring. All this has come via friends I met at the Ring last year. Thus proving beer and motorsport are an excellent combination for a cracking social experience
Unfortunately still having trouble uploading more photos, but will rectify when I get back

That's as 'living the dream' as almost anything as far as I'm concerned Chris
