The other thread on green Lamborghinis reminded me that I haven't posted my pics from our trip to the factory / museum last summer. Was a great collection of cars. The A/C in the building did struggle to cope with the 36 degree heat which is probably appropriate given the cars suffer(ed) from the same issue

A couple there that aren't from the usual rainbow of fruit flavours. I'd love a Skittles-sponsored Lambo show.

We also stopped for lunch in the restaurant all the factory workers go to. I love the Italian lifestyle that they all up sticks and go to a restaurant every day for a Pasta and an espresso

Yep - I worked in Mirafiori factory for a while (well, in the offices attached) and lunch was always a treat. Fresh Pasta and a Meat or Fish every day. I drew the line at cavallo but the veal and the salsiccia were fantastic.

That gold LM002 is the most interesting car there.

Obviously a pivotal design in automotive layout terms, but I was never really blown away by the Miura's styling - until I saw one in a museum and was able to properly appreciate the curves & proportions. Lovely cars.
