I got myself a heads up GPS speedo. I struggle to see the speedo between 40 and 100mph if I'm in a comfortable seating position so this works well.

I also got a handbrake for my ghetto sim rig so I'll be nailing that on soon.

i got new bike lights - a mate who i ride with has the exposure lights which quite frankly are annoying. annoying because when im riding in front i can’t actually see the trail because all i can see is my own shadow cast by his light behind me.

so i got a set for xmas.

https://www.exposurelights.com/products ... -sync-mk-5

(i found a tredz deal for £560)

i’m looking forward to the first outing - i already went through the pain of syncing them with the remote control, so im hoping they are good!

I’ve got an older version of those two without phone connection but they’re bloody amazing, like riding in daylight at night 🤣

yeah, with wife and child, scheduling regular weekend riding is harder and harder these days, so evening/night rides during the week have stepped up in importance. plus it is damn good fun at night!

That light set looks epic 8-)

I was pleasantly surprised with my Peugeot Pepper Grinder as I'd asked for one for my birthday a couple of months ago and was denied :D

Thank you for this, didn't know wireless carplay/android transmitters are a thing. Going to order one now as I was thinking about changing my headunit to a new one for that.

You plug a USB transmitter into the headunit Carplay output instead of your phone with it's usual cable and then your phone connects wirelessly to it like in newer cars.

The mrs and I decided not to bother buying for each other, all seems a bit pointless, we’d rather just buy what we want with our own money.

Spotted a decent discount on a Tamiya Top force RC car, so put some money I had towards that to go in my collection. Had my eye on a drone but not at full price.

Other than that, mainly sweets 😄

Jen got me a Dark Crystal book, full of art (by the original puppet designer) and background stories. We try and get thoughtful presents rather than spending lots. I got Jen some Anker noise cancelling headphones and hand stiched notebook cover and matching bookmark for her college notebooks.
Kids got me a print of a Pink Floyd flyer from 1969 and jaffa cakes.

Was thinking about one of these but thought the sound quality might suffer. Got details?

I can’t distinguish any difference between wired and wireless sound. It connects quickly wirelessly too!

Main present was a sourdough making day course at the local bakery (their sourdough is the best I've ever had). I've wanted this since they I saw they were doing it but their website was sold out and was always "coming soon" for new dates, so the best part of the present was not having to hassle them to give me a booking as the wife took care of it with emails etc.

Most of the other stuff was decent stuff I wanted, but fairly mundane.

I keep seeing about this Peugeot pepper grinder on here, do I need this in my life? To be honest we have some semi-antique (probably communist era Polish) pepper grinder which works beautifully for cooking, if this looks good it could be the table mill I guess...

Does one grind one's own pepper? Surely that is the job of the footman who stands behind one's chair, ready to serve?

Amazon dropped mine off earlier and it’s great. Connects as quickly as the wired connection and can’t tell a difference in sound quality but it’s just car speakers at the end of the day.

I don’t want to sound ungrateful but here we go. A client gave me an iPad, an Armani watch and £50 of eating out vouchers, which was very generous of them. And I don’t want amy of them 😂 hence Alex now has the iPad and I’m trying to offload the rest.
