I quite like the look of it to be honest. I think it looks a bit better than the new McLaren. Single seater (or whatever 1+ cab means) seems like an odd choice. I wonder how the 900HP V6 will sound..?

I think it's a bit odd to graft the Daytona-style nose/headlight treatment of the 12 Cylinder onto it - didn't previous special anniversary Ferraris set the styling trend for the rest of the range rather than the other way round?

I'm a front end web developer for Ferrari and I definitely wasn't kicked in the head by a horse, prancing or otherwise, as a child!

The amusing thing about them selling them all is you’d need an invite to consider buying it in the first place. And as for the 1+ seating, the investment pieces won’t matter as no one will sit in it or if they do it’s not moving anywhere, and the ones that do get driven will just be rich kids taking their poorer mates around the ring

Kinda what I meant. Most of the buyers don't care what it looks like or what it does or how many seats it has. It's a collectible Ferrari to go in their collection. It may as well be a Pokemon card. Half the buyers probably wouldn't even notice if there was no engine in it.

£3.5m x 799 = £2.8bn

Depressing. I'm sure that money could be spent more usefully.

Thing is it still does make a difference as this is their Halo car. If people thing it is a C+ effort that doesn’t do wonders for the brand. Obviously they’re not going to feel the same impact as other carmakers because of the cache that Ferrari has but nonetheless…

Anyway - as I said I think the halcyon days are over and we best get on with renaming this website 3NAT)O and revelling in the products of 2020 back. Funny that the pandemic may be a watershed in unexpected ways.

ETA - just dawned on me that Ferrari have made a Honda NSX Mkiii

What it looks or drives like doesn’t matter to the folk who’ll buy it, it’s just The New Thing.

It’s probably fine that companies are making billions a year from the same tiny group of people though. No signs of danger there.
