The first decently cold night; clear sky, 'feels like' temp -3°, thick white frost on everything 8-)
It'd be good for a drive, but nowhere nearish by is inspiring me atm :(

I wonder if this chap is disabled and couldn’t get out the car without assistance as otherwise he is a lazy cunt as well as a thick cunt. Pathetic.

Hurricane coming tomorrow. The internet will die, there will be power cuts, one poor bastard will lose their fence and some idiot will be killed walking under a tree. Stay safe folks and park your car away from things which can dent it.

Learned that lesson a few months ago :(

Oh, and vaguely related, I thought I heard thunder and saw a big flash earlier in the week, but then didn't hear any rain afterwards. Fell asleep shortly after.

Turns out it wasn't thunder, but a fucking meteor going boom a couple of dozen miles over West Yorkshire.

I'll get a link in a bit.

If it's anything like our neighbour who lives 4 doors down from us, it'll end up in someone else's garden, 4 doors down. 😀

I thought TG was going to take the city cars to Bradford.

The Full Moon has risen. It's the Snow Moon, a supermoon, and the calm before the storm.

I was surprised that the motorway gantries predicted my problems due to having a very spicy chilli con carne. Strong winds forecast was an understatement

Has been lovely today, slight nip in the air as the sun set.

Have added a couple of reinforcements to the carport roof just in case as I don't entirely trust the clip in bars between the panels to keep them held down if it's really bad.

I can’t tell if it’s just an overreaction or if it’s going to be genuinely bad, I can’t remember the last time they shut all the parks and displayed warning on gantries everywhere about a storm and then had all the tree surgeons on standby. Think they’ve cancelled some public events too.
Gone to my folks place to help out just in case as the council here get all excited if a private tree falls and try to get to it first to charge the owner for removing it. At least I managed to wash the cars in the nice weather earlier.

I'm in Atlanta airport waiting for my flight back to Manchester and I'm not holding out much hope, 2 flights to London have already been cancelled and one was due to go before mine. I dont mind having a night out in Atlanta though

It’s both...
