They’re making it sound like it’s going to be the apocalypse - hopefully it’s not as bad as they’re making out.
I’ll probably sharpen the chainsaw Thursday night.
How about not having a sig at all?

Crystal clear perfect full moon here with wind strong enough to blow your phone out your hand

The new universal measure :D
It isn't clear but I've had flick-book type views of the moon because of the wind :)

Snow and blizzards forecast for some parts, I almost want to go there for the semi Scandi experience. Hmm, the next Rufford Ford vids could be interesting.

Just a heads up - I downloaded the WeatherRadar app a few weeks ago and it’s really useful. The rain radar is spot on and the wind radar is very detailed.

Storm’s taken out our water supply. All of Newport Pagnell…

Thankfully we have loads of bottles in the garage

We've got the calm before atm, clear sky and sunshine. Wind gusts in the high 30mph still, the worst is set to reach here tomorrow (bin day   ).

15 hours later and still not sorted. Trickle from the main tap but it’s taking hours to re-fill cisterns

23:00 now they are saying.

Getting sick of it now

We're in the very west of Cornwall this week. Tonight and tomorrow should be interesting. Can hear the wind picking up already...

Good day to listen to the Shipping Forecast if you don't usually: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m0014gpd

Mike, not given to hyperbole they're saying up to force 11 in Plymouth and Lundy (south coast of Cornwall is Plymouth area, north is Lundy). That's the highest I've ever heard when listening and since my father and stepfather both sail, I've heard it many times over the years.

Good luck, Swerve.

Edit; there's a red warning in the south east now as well.

My trampoline is pegged down securely!

Luckily they were doing some maintenance in the forest behind our garden a couple of weeks ago - removing any trees along the fence line that looked dodgy. Great timing!

The roof broke off the duck house yesterday so the wife put a ratchet strap on it.

Hope when the big storm hits the ducks don’t spread their wings or we may lose them!!!

Dave!

Hey, that's not what I said!

That's a change from the normally calm and soothing sound of the Shipping Forecast

One tree has come down on my road - there's already a team of guys with chain saws clearing it though - which is impressive!

Very underwhelming (thankfully) here. Snow has already melted so I might make it out for a run at lunchtime rather than suffering on the treadmill.
Cheers,

Mike.
