Fell asleep last night, didn't see the moon. Tonight is cloudy, can't see the moon. Arse.

That's it, summer is over.

Although it still seems very patchy. Only light showers here, but the btcc is at snetterton about 20mins up the road and it looks awful.

Lovely moonrise, it looks like an orange segment.

Some rolling thunder and lightning with minimal rain atm. It probably won't develop any further but it's cleared the air nicely.

Same here in Surrey. The next 10 days are set to be some 10 degrees cooler, thank god. I can at least operate now.

Well that was a mad few minutes; rolling thunder, hail, rainbow, with blue skies and sun.
If it wasn't wet enough for raining all day yesterday and most of today, it is after that downpour.

Clear sky, full moon with moonbow, awesome view 8-)
Ok, tomorrow morning is going to be ~ 2°C because of tonight's clear sky, but well worth it for such a sharp and bright moon imo.
Tonight's want; something that'd take a decent picture of the moonbow (I guess any half reasonable 'phone would do it  ).

Full moon - the Hunter's Moon - tonight, and it's cloudy after two crystal clear nights. Arse.

Thought it was bright out so tried once again to take a photo - one day they’ll make a phone camera capable of moon shots.

The moon and sunsets these last few days have been massive towards the horizon. Yesterday the moon and sunset must probably rank amongst the biggest I’ve ever seen.
How about not having a sig at all?

The weather in the UK was fucking amazing the last few days. On the flight in I could see the Thames and the South Coast in one shot, and not a cloud in the sky for the few days afterwards. Soak it up guys.

I saw something very close to the Hunter’s Moon this morning. Glad I had a good look now.

Was - back home now. Great trip though, a cloudless sky Devon is quite the place.
