Bye bye Starmer
Re: Bye bye Starmer
We'd have to go back 30 years to successfully change our energy production methods tbh. What is it, 14 years and counting for Hinkley Point?

Rolls Royce are building mini nuclear power stations that are safe from everything bar a nuclear attack. It will also help my share price
https://www.rolls-royce.com/innovation ... n-overview
There is a market for mini power stations at big companies all over the U.K. which will become more needed and profitable.
The current method is producing an unstable grid and a reliance on individuals managing themselves which is a recipe for disaster imo.

Should've started this 30 years ago tooRolls Royce wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2024 4:44 pm
The Rolls-Royce SMR programme is forecast to create 40,000 regional UK jobs by 2050 and generate £52bn in economic benefit.
Also, considering how people are losing their shit over new pylons. I would put money on the nimbys going mad at the idea of dotting the country with nuclear reactors.

Re: Bye bye Starmer
The tech for mini nuclear reactors must have been around for decades? Isn’t that what all those nuclear submarines and aircraft carriers use? I’m guessing it must just be absurdly expensive but otherwise an ideal solution.
Probably viable now though because net zero energy production isn’t necessarily about being cheap or making money. Just a small sacrifice we have to make to save the planet.

How about not having a sig at all?

Wild to see Starmer stand and say that Israel has the right to defend itself from attacks it instigated.

Besides, Twitter has become a gammon cesspool. Quoting it as evidence of objective public opinion is like saying Nigel Farage is the voice of the public.Marv wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2024 5:42 pmBasically overly hostile comments, typical to Twitter with barely any valid constructive criticism in sightBroccers wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2024 5:01 pm https://x.com/Ed_Miliband/status/1841134894778343584

Are all of those addressed to Broccers?
Re: Bye bye Starmer
I do wonder how many of the replying accounts are actually real people.
Re: Bye bye Starmer
They can't be real functioning human beings surely? Labour have been in power 5 minutes and haven't done anything yet so what are they getting so worked up about.
Re: Bye bye Starmer
Musk stopped releasing the data on bots, which is funny as getting rid of them was one of the reasons he said he bought it.
Estimates are somewhere between 20% and 30% of accounts. Which would make around 80 to120 million bot accounts.
