Yes I will need to look at selling it this year.

Insurance renewal is up in January and currently the cheapest quote is £7,500 which is clearly not sustaniable.

It does have a private plate yes - nothing fancy just a letter + number plus three letters which are only a few hundred quid.

Or for a cheaper option mine might end up being available. The seats are proving really uncomfortable for me, they have the stupid modern thing of having headrests that push your head too far forwards. Round trip to work today had me thinking about it a lot.

Right now I have the driver's seat pulled apart to see if I can change the headrests to ones from a lower spec car with less padding.

Coolio - thought I’d check. It’s a cool plate for a GG but obviously muchos monies

I've got a couple of RRS headrests - I'd thought of getting screens put in them for the Disco 4 (as D4 headrests are too narrow) but decided it was a stoopid idea.

They are finished in black leather, so would only be good for you to test with. You could then sell them to fund some in the right colour (?)

Oh ! Could you take a couple of measurements for me ?

Diameter of the posts
Spacing of the posts
Roughly the distance from the centreline of the posts to the face of the pad

I've got 12.6mm dia @ 150mm centres, and c. 12cm padding. They're really deep - which is what's giving me the problem.

Not sure they are any betterer.

Same post diameter and pitch, but whilst the shape looks similar to yours without the extra padding, they are inclined forwards to do the same (stoopid) job :?

Bottom of the headrest pad approx 12cm from post centreline, rising to 18+

Yikes, that's even worse ! Weird they're so tilted. I appreciate the offer though 👍

It'll look stupid but I just realised I can simply turn them around and see what it's like.

Good plan: it’s just occurred to me that these might be the original Disco4 ones - matching leather and stitching , so Immight have left the slightly wider RRS ones on the car when we sold it…. (Maybe they didn’t stick forwards so aggressively!)

SJ/GG - what’s the difference between Vogue, Vogue SE and Autobiography or do either of you have a broad strokes spec list?

Going to look at Cayenne aswell, but fancy a nice wafter (and then maybe a more focused 2nd car later on)

In the Vogue editions - when playing the HiFi - I understand you have to let your body move to the music, and go with the flow.

They’re incremental specs, not sure of the exact differences, but you should be able to find a brochure online. One positive thing I’ll grant LR is that there’s plenty of info available.

What year are you looking at ?
