From what i can tell...Yep dead.
https://www.goodwood.com/grr/road/news/ ... ol-jaguar/
They've stopped production of XE,XF and F-Type and will no longer produce ICE's.
Unclear what they have left to sell if they aren't building Internal Combustion Engines.
i-Pace is an old car now and they canned the XJ electric.

I don't think the iPace is being replaced directly either.

I saw an F-Type recently with the new face and I must say, it’s a good looking car these days.. shame, RIP
Will be exciting to see the new (elec) range of vehicles though

Wonder what all the factory workers are doing now then? No reports of mass layoffs. I thought there were rumours that it was going to be split from Land Rover and sold off.

Using the build configurator on the website the answer is SUVs. E-, i-, and F-Pace.
What a fall from grace that is.

For how long though if they are not building engines?

F-Pace is just a Velar and that's not long for this world as there's pics of the new Velar under camouflage being tested.
E/I Pace made in Austria and also not long for this world.
They've done an Alfa Romeo from 2008 when they canned everything then realised they have no cars to sell

I saw a last shape XJR recently, it’s still a really handsome car.

I like luxobarges and I will have another Jaguar. This shift in production upsets me greatly.

Sorry Jag fans, but at 70 I'm probably the oldest poster around these parts, and I can't forsee a time when I'll be old enough to want a Jaguar.

That amused me greatly. Tim, Jimmy: take note

I'm older than my years. Certainly my knees and back think I am. I'd like a late XJ, F-trype or XFR sportbrake.

At 42 I'd like to own a Jaguar (V8 F-Type, XE-S, V12 XJS, XKR-S GT, Project 8) but can't ever see a situation where I'd pick one over other options.

Maybe it’s cos my Dad ran a ‘65 S-Type (3.8 manuel with overdrive) in the late 80’s, but I don’t have a perception of Jag as an older person’s brand at all. Hence I think both Jimmy & Tim’s purchases were CAF

I would like a Project 8 but they’re all LHD (I think) and don’t seem to depreciate like other Jags, sadly.
Actually I was surprised how expensive 5.0 XKRs still are.

I would have a Project 8 over a GT3 or GT3 RS.

I'm 36 and I've had my Jag since I was 32.
An iPace might be incoming to replace this one when it goes on the 24th.
I don't really care what anyone has ever thought of what I drive though

When I ran the sales department of a Jag dealership (2008) we rarely had anyone under 50 purchasing, but I bought my XFR when I was 35.
It's a shame to see their demise, and doubt that the electric revolution will save them. I still believe that the XFR has not been bettered as a drivers performance saloon, particularly after you've put decent tyres on them and and had the geo set up to XFR-S spec. Newer M5s, AMGs and Panamera's are certainly faster, but none of them are as enjoyable at sub-100mph.
