Mimi dinny’s watching but we’ve got company and I’m under strict instruction
Hope Usyk absolutely batters him into retirement

Tempted
But I don't have any of the services on which it's being shown, and not sure I can be bothered fannying about to sign up to one of them
I watched the Naoya Inoue fight the other weekend though - which was both a good fight, and also a nice experience
Because it was in Tokyo, it meant it was 11am on the Bank Holiday Monday morning
A couple of friends got together, I brought pastries, another chap did some bacon rolls etc - it was a really nice experience, watching boxing in the morning with some friends over coffee and breakfast...

I'm looking forward to it. I'm no expert but feel they are both cracking boxers but the saying is a good biggun will always beat a good littleun, we'll see
Hopefully I can stay up long enough!

I’m sure it’ll be available somewhere slightly dodgy online. There’s usually a bunch of feeds incoming around on Twitch, Instagram or TikTok live

Yes, I think it goes the distance and Usyk wins but anything can happen in heavyweight boxing.

That’s got to go to Usyk, surely?

100%, any other decision would be a travesty.

Yup Usyk got it, definitely the right decision. How Fury stayed upright in round 9 after that left hook is a miracle.

Hopefully you put a bet on that!

I had 8/1 Usyk to win by KO between rounds 9-12

Ref stepped in before Usyk could finish it...obviously didn't have the same bets as me.

I used to do similar when the fights were at 5am in the US. Phone on flight mode, go to bed, wake up at normal time and watch the fight and eat.
I couldn’t pick a winner before or after the fight, even had a bet on a draw, it was very close for me but glad Usyk got the win. Even if only to make John Fury cry.
The Cordina fight was decent too. As was Opetaia, proper tear up towards the end.

Shame that Usyk wasn’t able to definitively put him down.

Very impressive from Usyk. He's a proper boxer.

I don't know much about boxing, however that sounds spot on. Fury looks like a person who was born with a freakishly exceptional talent for dodging punches and hitting people, almost like he has a sixth sense. On the other hand, Usyk looked like someone who has worked their ass off to become a strong and fantastically skilled boxer. I'm not denying that Fury works hard, he clearly loves the sport and is obviously very very good, but he fights like a boxing clown

. It's great fun to watch and creates a brilliant sense of theatre, his personality is a credit to the sport, but a very different style.

Can’t say that I agree that Fury’s personality is good for the sport. He’s an arsehole
It’d be fine if it was pro wrestling but it’s a bit embarrassing for our biggest rep in a real sport to come from that buffoon.
