Not dead, but it's changed owner again. Carwow has bought it. Er. Not sure whether this is a good or bad thing; Carwow has no magazine but Evo is about far more than drag races and discounted new cars.

This happened a few months ago, Carwow bought Autovia who owned Evo, Auto Express and a few other publications I have never heard of.

Who knows how this will pan out given the state of the print industry and where Youtube is now. What are circulation figures like these days for evo?

Talking about buying evo, any suggestions for how to get rid of a large collection? Am assuming only the first 10 or so will be worth sticking on eBay unless I'm in it for the long term. Seems like such a waste but not sure how often I'd revisit them and they will take up a lot of space.

I was worried when I saw the title of this thread! :D

It was announced earlier this year.

I ended up selling mine on eBay for not a lot, from issue 1 up to whatever it was. Might have got more selling specific issues or in groups of 10 but that would have been a lot of listings. One time waster buyer who won then wanted me to post but didn't want to pay the £150 postage! (or something like that, seeing as it was about 130kg of magazines iirc). Eventually someone bought it and their dad came round and we filled their estate car boot with the mags.

edit I only got £77 less fees = £66 for 232 issues.

I just started reading it again as my library has digital copies available through Libby. Haven't been a regular reader since Harry left tbh.

Thanks @JonMad, that's what I thought. Might try on Gumtree and FB Marketplace in the first instance.

And me now you’ve pointed that out 😂
It was only today that they emailed about it. A change in the privacy policy apparently.

Who were Autovia anyway?

Just got an email from Evo magazine announcing this. Can't remember the last time I got an email from them, surprised they still have my email on file tbh.
