So at the butchers doing the dog food run and the silly butchers left a big cut of meat on display.
So 2 of these….
1.3kg each
Seared and ready for the oven.
Butter and salt only, lunch sorted.
Dave!

I get why these are popular but not for me. I like a bit of marbling but there's just too much fat on those for my taste.

TBH after that second picture I'm pretty sure Dave's surname is Flintstone.

It’s about 20% fat which is what we have now, it was bloody lovely but I may need to hire an escort to come and rub my belly for a bit

The wife hasn’t eaten anything but steak, chicken, butter, salt, pork belly or water since October. It’s surprising how much waste comes out when the body uses so much of what you eat.
I need a fucking belly rub though

Nope, 95lb loss between us and never hungry.
Fruit and veg only bring back aches and pains for me and hunger for the wife. The only ones upset are the dogs as they think they will get some.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner?

Just whenever we are hungry. Sometimes nothing for a day and others eating like we won’t be fed again. No calorie counting, just eat when hungry.

So literally just meat, butter, salt and pepper has passed your lips, food wise? And only water to drink? I commend your efforts and the results are amazing.

No pepper
Short ribs for dinner, bacon and duck eggs for breakfast with 250g of mince. I’ll probably have 2 steaks for dinner.
It’s nice not feeling hungry or have any dips, nice steady energy all day.
I did roast potatoes in tallow a couple of weeks back though, that nearly turned me

I honestly don't understand how this diet works, I feel like if I tried it I'd be unwell.
Fair play to you for making it work.

Trust me I ran out of ideas before trying.
The wife has better hair, skin, sleeps better, easier to concentrate (she works in insurance from home, so just numbers and tip tapping all day) plus the extra energy, weight loss, never bloated etc. it’s had a bigger difference on her than me.
Cholestorol was a worry but the more I read the less I worry.
My Albumin was high as I hadn’t drunk that day (all on me, school run, breakfasts and just forgot) but otherwise a normal week for me so a fair representation.
We both get bloods done twice a year and I’m pretty happy.
Dave!

What about your heart? Are you worried about arteries hardening?
Genuinely curious btw, I'm fascinated by this diet. It's counter to pretty much all advice I've seen
